Blizzard announced yesterday that tickets for Blizzcon 2010 will be going on sale June 2nd and June 5th, and available to users with battle.net accounts. Tickets this year are a little more expensive thatn in the past at a hefty $150 dollars. 16 people have been implicated in the Starcraft match fixing scandal: eleven current and ex-progamers, three brokers, and two individuals who used inside information on the fixing to place bets.
Korean laws allow for a certain degree of privacy regarding those involved in legal cases, but by allowing last names and details about the crimes to be revealed, some identities can easily be deduced.
Three brokers were indicted, gaming academy owner Mr. Park (under arrest), K3 (3rd division) soccer pro Mr. Jung, and the gangster Mr. Kim (wanted). The brokers used their relationships with the progamer Mr. Ma (obviously savior) to offer other…….

New patch notes today. This one is not a big one, but should help those who aren’t able to close SC2 without it crashing. Some highlights are a slow down on cannon build times and a Roach sully increase.

The Starcraft 2 Beta is in full swing and we are getting swamped with requests for beta keys. Sorry folks, we wish we had hundreds of keys to give away to you, but unfortunately we don’t

Starcraft II finally has a released date. Mark your calendars for July 27th as the day Starcraft II enters the public’s hands!
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, will arrive in stores throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau starting on July 27, 2010. Players will also be able to purchase StarCraft II: Wings of Libertydirectly from Blizzard Entertainment shortly after the retail launch.

It’s been barely 2 months since Starcraft 2 Beta was revealed and Blizzard has already released Patch 5 for their much anticipated game. This new patch weakens the Zerg in certain areas as well as once again reducing the Protoss build times for their warp gate technology.

After long years of waiting and many periods of delaying, the Starcraft 2 BETA has been officially released! As of now, there are only around 2000 players in it, but expect to see lots of BETA footage to appease your lust to see the game. And the news come rolling along!
Head onto the Blizzard’s Starcraft 2 site for some new information about the new Battle.net system that will be employed with the Starcraft 2 release. Furthermore, in Activision’s conference call today, they announced that Blizzard’s Starcraft 2 will be released mid-2010 along with the revamped battle.net system. Also, as Starcraft2forums.org pointed out, Mike Morhaime also happened to announce in the meeting that the Starcraft 2 beta will be announced THIS February! Hope they don’t miss out on this deadline!
